The Dutch guy team is 10th in Holland. I think they have 16 teams in the Dutch league. The guy has not won anything. The Dutch league is considered to be a weak league. And the rumored arrangement is he will coach Nigeria part time.

Seriously Nigeria need to address the colomentality. We should sink and swim with local coaches if we can't hire good foreign coaches.

You want Nigeria to address colomentality but you’re quoting the Dutch league standing to justify your opinion of a coach. You don cool pass mentality.

This is a disaster appointment.... not Amunike but Him and Finidi....

I will appreciate a foreign coach and Finidi but i do not think that Amunike and Finidi will work...(not to do with Race)

Both were great players in the same SE as the same time...

I think it is too close to home to appoint "two captains on the same ship"

I will appoint Amunike and allow him to pick his own assistants.....If he ends with Finidi great for him

Mcal,

Slow on that racism point. I do not think it is. You may want to read it again. While I certainly do not agree with him, it isnt racist. It is important to examine the poster's past record to determine that.

You have been here long enough to know that this is against the rules. However, like Enyeama, you are very stubborn and refuse to follow simple rules.

Mcal my brotha,
You clearly didn’t pick up on the sarcasm in that statement.

It’s like saying, “You can come from the moon for all I care, just do the job”.

By choosing to name Trump and Tinubu, Enyi clearly knew what he was saying, and why. And that is, as long as you get the job done, it doesn’t matter who you are.

Crazy drama going on. Cameroon want Peseiro. Ex Cameroon coach linked to Nigeria. NFF boss is doing the job of a coach that he will not appoint.
Winners do it the right way.

May be sarcasm but our people, especially those in Nigeria will run with it.
Another one na this picture of NFA chairman or is it president touring Europe, gaaaaaddem, makes no sense. He should sit his rear end in his office and delegate his deputies. The main task at hand is to get a coach for world cup qualifiers.

Being a manager is not nuclear science. What Nigeria needs is a leader, a good manager of men, surround him with a good supporting staff. We have Nigerians that can manage the national team. But the inferiority complex, tribalism and selfish interests is getting in the way. You have people that don't want a coach because he won't play their favorite players. You have people don't want a coach because he only uses players from the south. They want more Northerners in the team. This is why Nigeria is underachieving. We have to encourage our own. Sink and s2im with our local manager. Peseiro is not better than Finidi or Oliseh or Amuneke or Siasia or Egbo and etc. He is not. And it is going to take time to build the team. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Winners do it the right way.

The issue isn’t even any of the names being paraded…it’s picking a coach and forcing an assistant on him….

Pick a coach and let him pick his crew….

Finidi and Amuneke will not work

Finidi on his own might!

Amuneke on his own with his own crew Might!
