Unraveling Boniface's mysterious absence from yesterday's Europa League match.

Post by iworo »

I'm puzzled about Boniface's absence from yesterday's Europa League match. It was even perplexing that Xabi Alonso chose not to field his top forwards from the start. Was it overconfidence on his part, or a strategic decision to rest key players and offer others an opportunity to shine? What concerns me most was Xabi Alonso's reluctance to introduce Boniface, even when trailing by two goals. Could he still be recovering from an injury, or is there a rift between him and the coach? Does anyone have any insider information on this matter? I'm particularly concerned because I hope the coach or the club are not trying to deem this boy's star?

Boniface looked a bit out of sorts in their last Euro match. I don’t know if he is not fully fit or just being his usual casual self but he gave away the ball too many times in that match and just made wrong decisions with the ball.

To be honest, I have not really being sold on the Boniface hype. There is a good player somewhere in there, but I like my players to be serious and hardworking. But I have always found him to be a bit lazy and casual. But the team at Bayern L have seen something in him that the average fan like me can’t see. I wish him all the best.
