I smell a resurgence of North African football...

Post by odi »

What with Morocco having beaten the Super Eagles, Algeria getting a result against Cameroun (amazing!), and now Tunisia winning their first two matches and posting the highest score margin yet, I think that this is the year for the North African teams.

Maybe it's the home advantage, or maybe they are simply tired of their underdog tag.

Whatever the reason, this is scary... I see at least one of them in the finals.

What says you guys?
The SUPER EAGLES shall rise again!

It's just poor coaching in our case that is made Morocco look good.

IN 1998, SA WAS THE RISING STAR, AND...

...people were throwing the names Fish, McCarthy, Issa et al around. Where are they today?

Now, it's N. Africa and I guess they are les equippes de jour. By the way, they've never been that bad with Morocco and Tunisia consistently qualifying for WC's.
