This is when better threads were opened on cybereagles. big ups to the thread opener. Now you have neckinho and rasterhead runing around opening brainless thread.
I will count on Michael Ballack.

Gervinho. Why? On the evidence of recent postings, he's on course to better the achievements of every other player of the game. 5 or so games in and he's already had more touches of the ball than George Michael and dribbled more than Ike Ibeabuchi after his eight o'clock meds.

I dont care if Balotelli is the best penalty taker in the world, anyone who places his life in the hands of that nutcase doesnt like his life. I can see Balotelli missing the penalty on purpose "just to see how the whole "death by penalty works."opine wrote:Exactly who I had in mind too.kalani wrote:First name on my mind.tfco wrote:Balotelli

True but don't forget how much Balotelli loves himself and his record of never missing a penalty.okokobioko wrote:I dont care if Balotelli is the best penalty taker in the world, anyone who places his life in the hands of that nutcase doesnt like his life. It’s not easy for a player to see how he’s outperformed by a 19 year-old kid, but the kid is fantastic. I had the courage to play him and the problem is very simple.

You are speculating? You are willing to speculate with your life? We are talking about guarantees here. When you have to think about which balotelli will wake up this morning, I dont think thats the person you want making decisions about your life.kalani wrote:True but don't forget how much Balotelli loves himself and his record of never missing a penalty.okokobioko wrote:I dont care if Balotelli is the best penalty taker in the world, anyone who places his life in the hands of that nutcase doesnt like his life. Re: If someone had to take a penalty for your life......
The best pen takers I have seen:
1) Le Tissier (scored 48 out of 49 penalties - can't argue with that)
2) Del Piero (consistently put it in the top corner, scored 62 penalties in his career)
3) Van Nistelrooy (always hit the ball hard into the bottom right - yet GKs could never save it even though they knew this!)
4) Shearer (always hit the ball with so much power)
5) Ray Stewart (scored 76 out of 86 career penalties). Former West Ham defender. Used to absolutely hammer the ball.

Johan Neeskens, for sure. At 19 in the 1974 World Cup final, called upon to take a first minute penalty against Germany. Produced a delicious beaut that goalkeeper Sepp Maier still sees in every nightmare, I'm sure...see youtube!
Re: If someone had to take a penalty for your life......
Yekini. He blasted his pk's with so much force that no keeper could possible save them. Then I'll go with Enyeama next.
Re: If someone had to take a penalty for your life......
Taiye Taiwo is pretty good at penalties.
Winners do it the right way.
