Nigerians are funny people. You put "official" in the thread title, and somehow think it gives it higher status.

Scipio Africanus, don't fret. Any duplicate threads will be dealt with accordingly.

In fact, we should have only one thread for both matches. i.e. Nigeria vs. Benin and Morocco vs. South Africa (in case anybody is interested in that match or the developments). That way, we don't have to go to the main page and start switching between threads.

Anyone ever consider creating a chat room instead? Updates will be pretty close to real time, instead of having to refresh forum pages everytime, and it probably won't be as tasking on the server.

Just a suggestion.

a chat room will be too much to handle.

I DEY SMELL SOME DEAD RATS IN HERE OOO MY PEOPLE!!!!!!!

We all know that Benin Republic have got nothing to lose, they could be spoilers, and we are taking the match very seriously," cautioned Nigeria captain Jay-Jay Okocha.

Meanwhile, Benin are looking to join fellow Cup of Nations newcomers Rwanda and Zimbabwe in winning their first match at the finals on their maiden attempt.

Several Nigerian-born players, such as Muri Ogunbiyi and Jonas Oketola, will feature for the Squirrels in the game.

Select your Benin squad

The 21-year-old Ogunbiyi, who plays for Nigerian champions Enyimba, wishes to impress against the Super Eagles after he was overlooked by their selectors and settled for Benin instead.

"It will prove that some people made a big mistake by not picking me for any of the national teams in Nigeria," said the striker.
