Globacom League Kicks Off Feb 21

The Nigeria Football Association (NFA) has announced that the new season will formally kick-off on February 21 next year.

In a proposed pre-season activities made available to THISDAYSports, the NFA listed that this month was meant for payment of registration and affiliation fees and fines from 2003 season while January 4th is for the collection for registration materials, licenses, contract forms and so on.

The NFA annual general meeting will still hold on January 8-10 in Imo State, Pro-league Division One play-off between Mighty Jets FC and NPA FC to be played at the Dan Anyam Stadium Owerri Imo State on January 9.

The Charity Cup Match between Enyimba FC of Aba and Lobi Stars FC of Markurdi would also be played at the Dan Anyam Stadium Owerri Imo State on January 10, 2004.

Next month the association will begin the inspection of stadia, offices and other facilities in all venues to be used for the league. Completed registration forms and licences are to reach the NFA pro-league department latest February 16 while a pre-season seminar would hold on February 17 and 18 in Abuja.

This is the 4th date the NFA have fixed.
They should just get their acts together and start the league
