first half summary
1 mins: nigeria in white, cameroon in their usual puma designed jersey
5 mins: okoronkwo opens scorring with beautiful placed header off an Okocha throw nigeria up 1-0
11 mins: Kanu brough down near 18: Okocha kills bird
24 mins: Yellow card for yobo foul on Mboma Geremi area.
25 mins: Goal Cameroon, Kanu heads the freekick into his won net
35 mins: Jag Brezzes past 2 cameroon defenders before unleashing a powerful shot
35 mins: Goal Nigeria!! his shot hits the bar okoronkwo gets the rebound and slots into the open net 2-1 nigeria
40 mins: Etoo one on one with nigeria keeper after pass from geremi, shoots over the bar
47 mins half time. game is evenly matched nigeria passing well but look shakey on set plays. Cameroon players jovial as the go to the locker room for their "half-time break"
45 mins second half begins: nigeria make 2 substitutions Ikedia for Enyema and osaze for yobo
57 mins: Etoo shoots over form 2 yards out
60 mins: Eto'o booked for flying his shirt!
70 mins: Red card!! Eto's dribbles osaze in the penalty area and stumbles over the ball referee books him for diving
83 mins: GOALLL!!! Okoronkwo places a beautiful volley from 25 yards into the top corner to complete his hatrick. no chance for Kanemi
88 mins: Goal!! Olembe crosses from the right and Kanu places a diving header past his own keeper, his second of the day.
90 mins: DISAStER: Mboma's zipper fails and his jersey falls revealing all, Mbami scores while enyama is distracted.
90 mins: after word with the assistant referee goal doesn't count because one of Mboma's "members" was in off-side position
92 mins final whistle nigeria wins 3-2
