Super Stores of Lagos is the King of Nigeria Football. I am and will always be with Bendel Insurance but Super Stores is the most entertaining football club ever in Nigeria football history
If you know Bendel Insurance during Coach Alabi's era, then you know what I am talking about.
I will pay my last dine to watch Super Stores any time if they can produce textbook play.
I was in Nigeria during 2003 Challenge Cup final between Shark and the winner from the North, broda! if was like a 3rd division match during Ranger, IICC, Bendel Insurance, Mighty Jet era.
Up Super Stores of Lagos.

Good for Stores.
I have always supported the team and i would love to see them in the premier league.
With Stores, Shooting, Rangers and Enyimba we can be sure the glamour will return to the league

Larry,
I am just accessing this topic. Good to know another revered CE member who is a Super Stores fanatic.

Gotti,
Good write up on the some of the reasons professional football never took root.

I believe the changing of club names also contributed to supporters and crowd apathy in Nigeria. Franchises should be bought with the name. Imagine for how long English football teams, nay, even African ones, like Accra Heart of Oak, Ashanti Kotoko, Jeand'Arc, Canon Sportif etc have been in existence. Resuscitating clubs under new management will ensure supporters' followership. Welcome back Stores, Welcome back IICC, WAKE UP Rangers; Bendel Insurance; Mighy Jets; Spartans of Owerri; let's get our league going for we have the talents and supporters to make our league world class.
