Kingsley, Ogbeche and Obiorah score

Post by Paveman »

Barth Ogbeche grabbed a vital 90th minute equalising goal for his side P.S.G. in the French cup. PSG were playing at home to Troyes and elimination would have been a shock one.
PSG eventually won the tie 3-2 after extra time.

IN the meantime, in the Spanish second Division, James Obiorah continued where he had left off before the Christmas break, by grabbing another goal for his side Cadiz. Unfortunately, the goal was useless as his side lost 2-1 at Levante.

Kingsley Ekeh has also scored in the Portugeuse First division. The match is still being played (60 minutes) and his side (beira mar) are losing 2-1 away to Moreirense.

James Obiorah seems to be rounding back to form. I'm hoping that Cadiz wins promotion to the Primera Liga, so that we can see him in La Liga next season.

MYSTIC: With the defection of MArtins, I was wondering if he might have been in good enough form to challenge for a shirt at Faro. Then again, his club might have had problems releasing him.

By the way, PSG won the game 3-2.

There is no bigger fan of Obiorah than myself, but I think that it rather late in the day to invite him. Besides, I don't see him as a replacement for Martins as he is more of an attacking midfielder cum striker, rather than an out and out striker.

That being said, an 'in form' Obiorah belongs on the national team, and I would love to see him back in the mix after the Cup of Nations.

Mytic: That's precisely what I meant. AN in-form Obiorah belongs to the SE.

Dudu: I'm sure Martin will be here giving us mmore information on Obiorah. He follows the Nigerians in the Spanish leagues very closely.

Taka: No goal clips that I know of. Try the club websites perhaps?

Hope Ogbeche takes this form to camp and earn his place in Tunis, although competition is tough in that his department.

Was it a beautifully crafted goal or one of those goal mouth scrambled? :|

I'm serious..... - I just need to know his form. To a team a goal is a goal - but to a striker a goal is not always a goal - especially when one is trying to rate his stock

With all due respect (that means I no wan fight) - I think we should drop this Martins issue - there is no need crying over spilt milk.

We just won't invite him when he really wants to come.

Ogbeche's goal was a plum.

A wicked lob garnished with a def touch from the edge of the left side of the 18 yard box.

The boy was mobbed by his team mates.

Bato, Martins and Benji @ Juve are the future of the funk!

Cheers

Is it me or is it that when it is close to a tournament, WC or ANC, some of our fringe players put in a top performance capped by a goal and then fade away once the tournament kicks off
