Thanks for the picture.

Could someone explain why players who should form the bedrock of the Olympic squad are being invited also for ANC.

A case of killing two birds with one stone?

Kalu, Osaze, Opabunmi, Melkam, Obodo, Nworgu, Martins, Ugochukwu etc belong to the Olympic squad that should form the bedrock of our WCC2006 squad. With the confusion already in place (over 50 players, a la CCC, have been invited by Abdullahi) I forsee Nigerians defeating Nigeria AGAIN.

Interesting line-up.So,Abdullahi subbed Okoduwa for Osaze, and only began playing with a creative midfielder in the second half!(and he scored).Playing three strikers in Rabiu,Okoduwa, and Seun Abiodun in a stiff away match shows why he deserves the exit door.
I must commend the fighting spirit of our boys coming from 3-1 to tie it and losing to a 90th minute goal. The scoreline however reflects poor coaching.A team with the resolve of scoring three away goals should not lose.

Who played left back?

According to Le Soleil, he gave Senegal a torrid time by joining the attack constantly!

Kalu reportedly left the U-23 team to join the Faro camp at about the same time that Osaze left Faro for Dakar.

Trust Suya to notice this.

I wonder what happened to the dugout at the stadium? Perhaps Abdullahi wanted to get closer to his players!
