Avatar help Abeg!!!!!

Got some cool avatars i would love to use but they are larger than the the 12kb req. Plzz how do i get to reduce their size. 27 on a similar thread made a suggestion by using a reducing software or something like that, but don't really get it, plzz can someone give me a lay down of proceedures i can follow to carry out the task? i would really appreciate. and sorry for opening another topic on d issue.

Windows 98, NT, 2000 and XP all have the software "Paint".

Locate "Paint" software at programs > Accessories or all programs > Accessories if OS is Xp

Once u open this software go to view > image attributes. Here u can alter the dimensions which will consequently alter size of avatar.

Rogba thanks but does this affect moving avatars eg is ikwerremans baby avatar, it tells me it has 2 be less than 12kb, is there a way of reducing that??

It will affect animated avatars if they are initially larger than 12k. If you still want animated avatars you have to get any less than 12k.
