BOLTON can still make Champions League!!!!
With 4 games to go in the premiership, Bolton are currently 6 points behind NewCastle and Liverpool in the race for the last Champions League place BUT.....
Newcastle and Liverpool play each other on the last day
Liverpool still have to face ManU
Newcastle have to face Chelsea
Bolton have to play Southampton, Everton, Leeds and Fulham... games they can certainly win. Also, most teams above them still have to face each other.
Besides, the next 3 teams are in the UEFA cup. This is a chance for Jay Jay to hit the big stage one more time..

at the beginning of the season when I suggested that Bolton could qualify for Europe some mumu said I was crazy!
Although, I believe that the champions league spot is beyond them, your analysis is logical. I see Bolton getting 8 points out of the remaining four matches. Hopefully, that could land them a UEFA cup spot. Nonetheless, their huge negative goal difference is a problem in case they tie on points with teams above them.

I see Jiggerman's point and it does make sense....Bolton will surely rue all those points they gave away with unnecessary draws and painful last minute loses due to so many wasted goal opportunities

Same story last season saw them battling relegation - I guess they are at least happy that the cost is not as high this season.anikulapo wrote:I see Jiggerman's point and it does make sense....Bolton will surely rue all those points they gave away with unnecessary draws and painful last minute loses due to so many wasted goal opportunities
