Thats not actually what the piece concluded on, and both Michael Johnson and Colin Jackson were on that show and they both referred to the documentaries they made and said the conclusion was that there are too many factors involved to pin it down to one thing or gene
Colin even said his documentary revealed that white people actually have the same fast twitch fibres

Well whatever it is...Black people have an advantage. Even if it is a boost from a divine source. There is absolutely no way you can have such dominance from black people in such races, without there being some advantage, however little.

And no Rupp....getting silver or a Russian doing well....does not come near disproving this logic.

It isn't like Caucasians are not interested in running. Whether it comes down to historical reasons or genetic reasons or whatever, there is a reason, there is an advantage. Something is there.

Yup. I was in the gym and could only read the teletext, but I could have sworn that I read some lines that 'threw doubt' into the whole 'eugenics' and genetic arguments which were put forward, and concluded by saying many factors are attributable.

Colin Jackson mentioned some gene they think is attributed to fast twitch muscle is present in significant proportions of the Caucasian population so this can't be the reason.

michael johnson ran a program on the subject,. In it it was implied that the carribbean has the best sprinters because the most untamed /belligerent and strongest slaves were shipped over there back in the day.Im not sure what his personal views are not that i care

Nobody is disputing that black Americans have European and Native American ancestry, however you can't simply wash away their west African gene simply because we want to sound politically correct. Those people are predominantly west African descent. Let's just keep it real here.
