This is when sentiments are thrown to the winds. The coach chose the best 23... in his opinion.

Am not surprised, he looked fat in the show that was on espn yesterday. Ghana should be able to handle the Yanks. Apart from Bradley, Zusi and Dempsey, nothing to worry about from this squad.

He's played as fullback under Klinsmann.

That's a risky but big decision by Klinsmann.

Hmm, brave decision by Klinsmann, if Donovan were an African player, would his coach have the cojones to exclude him ??

Truth be told, last friendly against Mexico, Donovan was out of shape.

BUT, if any one player exemplified the enviable character of Team USA in WC 2010, it was Landon Donovan. USA was my favorite team behind Nigeria. They played the sport with the heart it deserves....and nobody did it better than Landon. Gutted for him

Donovan jerked the team around for a while. This na payback!

Looks to me that this world cup will be full of youngsters.

So be prepared for Keshi's young team!

Donovan lost his mojo few years back, no big deal at all.

This is not a surprise. After his last interview, no coach in his right mind would take a player who will not or cannot give his all to the WC. That's a waste of a spot.

Chei, so for the first time since 2002, Landicakes will not be suiting up for the US.

All I can say is Klinsmann better not lose to Ghana. :!:

I know Jermaine Jones is a huge liability in midfield. I think Klinsy will live or die by this selection
