Sensational actually. VDB has some balls.

Pique is a total liability. Xavi is only a defensive liability, but unfortunately that's proven too much. Sad to see Xavi go this way.

I'd have benched Casillas as well.

I still think Spain will advance. Let's see.

Cheers, Mate

I'd have benched casillas but i can see why he didnt totally.

De Gea is hurt (last reports i read anyway) so that leaves Reina who's not force. Plus you hope your captain gets better game by game.

De Gea's injury in my opinion is the reason, Casillas is still starting. If he wasn't injured, I think De Gea starts but then again VDB stood by him when he wasn't playing for Real Madrid on the regular... so we will never know.

They are waste pipe that only play because of the past .
Casillas,Xavi,Pique and Torres should not be making Spain team.
The Bayern guy Martinez what ever they call him is a better CD than Pique

I know it is just 2 mins into the game but the Spanish body language doesn't look good at all. Chile, please score first and let's see what the Spaniards are made of.

The Original Mexican Stand-off, irony being, not a Mexican nearby. Red mist destined to descend. Sgt Ramos to kick it off.
