USA benched one of their better players in Bedoya for the useless Brad Davis?

This one is a head-scratcher Klinsmann and Gonzalez at RB? Or is he playing with 3 CBs looking for the draw?

Hmmm. I'm worried about Gonzalez, if this is indeed true. He seems to get lost positionally.

I'll keep faith with Klinsmann. He seems to know what he's doing.

Well, I'm off to our cafeteria to watch.

Go USA!!!

Why no Cameron?

We look a bit shaky already. We need to settle down a bit.

I don't see how this game does not end in a draw:

1. A draw favours both sides.
2. The Germans have done the same thing before in the WC.
3. Both Coaches are Germans.
4, The U.S. coach is an ex-German coach.

Point 1 is decisive.

Gijon was very different. It needed a German win. Tactical draws have been a legitimate feature of football.

US is under intense pressure. If there was any arrangement for a draw, no one told the German players.

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: I think Germany is looking at scoring to score one and then ease up.
