No, he wouldn't have. He was out of shape. Just go watch the training camp videos.
Winners do it the right way.

Would have scored that chance Wondo missed, but can't attack Klinsmann;s selections.

No. He is not in form. He is no longer the player he was. And, from my view, he seems like he is a trouble maker whom might have disrupted the team chemistry.

He had troubles with Beckham. He had to take a sabbatical. He said on TV that he not only thought he would make the team, but also be a starter, based on camp performance.

In the aftermath of everything...and I supported Landon initially...Klinsmann got it right,

Also...I have my own question...would putting in Julian Greene instead of Wondolowski made a difference?

 :!: :?:

Yes, he would've dropped the average distance run by 10kms and beena deadweight by the 60 minute mark.

Well, he would have. But I can't fault Klinsman for dropping him. If Landon was on this team Klinsy would have been pressured to start him all the time (remember, nobody knew Altidore was going to be injured and that Box2Box XBox was going to struggle). Judging from Landon's statement, he is a brat and that should not be allowed anywhere in camp.

Now how would he have helped? Well, he would have put everybody in their favorite position once Altidore was hurt. Once Altidore was hurt, he would have been brought in as an AM and Box2Box Xbox would have been deployed to CM role (where he operates better). And yes he would have scored at least one goal!! I don't think he has lost speed at all compared to the rest of the guys on this team. But for his attitude?

The problem with this question is that the US did not deserve to win this game. They were completely dominated by Belgium

They did enough to win...

Their game was built on defending and taking their chances however limited they were...

BTW, I thought Jones was exhausted 60 minutes into the game... he was giving away balls like his name was Obi.
