He has a beloved son, Antoine.
When I have energy I will write a whole lot that’s in my heart. Spoke with him last Tuesday. Said I would see him next week in Owerri. Threatened him not to travel and wait for me. He said, “you know I have health problems so we’ll see if I am still alive.” I laughed out loud as if it were a joke but he was telling me the end was near and I missed the blinking red light!
He would normally request parmesan cheese, and a few other treats that were hard to get at home any time I would go back or my dad would travel.
This time it was like pulling teeth to get him to request anything.
In fact, he didn’t. He said he would get back to me. And he did today.
So heart broken.
Oh my god.
He knew things were not right.
May he RIP....One of the true heavyweights of CE.

mke1010...nice to see you around, albeit in very sad circumstances.
You've been missed.
Stay safe.

Okosisi. So he’s gone. Unbelievable. I didn’t want to believe this news when I saw it first. What a loss. May he rest in peace.

Very sad.

This is shocking news! He was one of the pioneers of this group when "deep" banter was the order of the day.

Theres nothing more to add as the comments above have encapsulated my thoughts completely.

My payers are with his family at this difficult time.

RIP Suya.

Shocked and sad.

He was online 19 hours ago.

We were still chatting recently about him coming to the UK for Christmas and meeting up then.

Shock!!!!!!!!

Did not see this coming.

Can't say anything for now.

Still remembered when he reached out to me as touching becoming a moderator on CE.

RIP Big Bros. Can’t claim to know him beyond exchanging a couple of messages on here to help post some classic Eagles pics back in the day. His charisma and mad sense of humour shone through though. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

I never met him, but felt like I knew him from the banter over the years. Really sad news.

I've just read through this thread and seen many names that haven't been here for a while. May God be with you all and your families. This year is really rough.

What horrible news. I chatted with him on FB a couple of months ago. We have lost a great man. May his soul RIP. And I pray for his family and kid who he loved so much.

Lost for words.

My first interaction with the Cybereagles forum was in 2002 before the World Cup, when Suya "published" two or three of my essays on the forum, crediting the essays to someone he named "THE FAN". For a while there were even a few people who thought THE FAN was Suya's pseudonym. He convinced me to join the forum (been here since 2002), and later became one of the very few members of the forum I've met in person.

I don't know what to say.

May he Rest In Peace.

Amen.
