Rip Suya, forumers take note. Don't let petty squabbles disintegrate into needless feuds. Big pokey, Naija, take note. Life is too short for Internet brave men. Suya - You leave a big vacuum in CE. Rest in the Lord - Selah

Suya was always willing to boost and help anyone at a moment’s notice.
One day I heard this naija born artist based in the U.K belt out “Dear Simone.”
A song about a lost love gone to the cold hands of death.
I immediately called Suya. We shared an unquenching thirst for music of all varieties. He liked the quote life without music is like boiling cold water.
He listened to the album and loved it.
He said, “you know we have to do what we can to highlight and expose talented Nigerian musicians to a greater audience.”
The next day he wrote and published this piece unsolicited.
What a gentleman he was. A man’s man and an excessive selfless giver.
I wish he would have taken just a little for himself.

We have lost a CE Legend.
I remember he organized fundraisers for people in need.
Suya, rest in peace.
I hope we can do something or donate to his family.

It will be done with FULL FORCE.
CE will step up big time for his son Antoine- that is a promise we shall keep. That 7 year old boy has an entire village of Uncles and Aunties nestled in the Hornet’s Nest.

BP,

Bro I can definitely relate... losing and seeing my own sister been buried hit me on a different level of reality, I also lost my dad at age 14 (he died right in my presence), but I somehow managed to get over that tragic chapter in my life... But life has been cruel to me man, I don't know what energy is keeping me from ending my life, but it to be the sustaining grace of God. It is well, this to shall pass

I have not been here for months. I saw the news on one of our Old Boys Facebook groups and hoped to confirm here that it was not true. But alas!

Rest in peace, great guy!

Lost for words.

My first interaction with the Cybereagles forum was in 2002 before the World Cup, when Suya "published" two or three of my essays on the forum, crediting the essays to someone he named "THE FAN". For a while there were even a few people who thought THE FAN was Suya's pseudonym. He convinced me to join the forum (been here since 2002), and later became one of the very few members of the forum I've met in person.

I don't know what to say.

May he Rest In Peace.

So, you are the Fan? Prof, how are you?
