Re: The French African all-star team...
Does your thinking apply to Black men using English, the language of the "European oppressors"? By the way the computer and the internet aren't African inventions. Why the hayell are you using them?bushboy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 1:25 amIt extends. I laugh at any black man who identifies as "christian" a religion handed to us by the white man to keep us passive and docile. Believing some grey haired man in the heavens compels slaves to "obey their masters" how idiotic!!Coach wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 7:30 pm Do such views extend to Christianity’s curriculum or are they reserved for sports and entertainment? One has often observed the most charismatic “back to Africas”, are front row, any given Sunday, ol’ blonde hair and blue eyed portraits decorating their parlours. Irony.
I say again, any black man worth his salt should NEVER don the colors of his white oppressors in sports or in the military. Watching France play makes me uncomfortable. I see a bunch of African slaves performing for the opportunity to win a cup and go "home" to present it to a white man.
Wha choo looking at?!

Great question. First of all the Caribbeans in the UK can ball so there is more competition. Apart from Nigeria and Ghana the other English colonies, eg Kenya, Uganda , Zimbabwe don't really have the football culture or love that Francophone Nations have, plus English are a little bit more closed with their NT than France, although this doesn't apply to Southgate.
That said the under 21 side that won a few years back had about 6 Nigerians. Funny thing is that apart from Tomori, all the others have not been able to break into the senior side.

For one thing, Africa is not a country, nor is it a race. Those stars are not "African," whatever that European invention means. That's primitive thinking. They are French nationals, mostly born there, and raised to that standard of excellence by the excellent French system of football. They have a right to play for the only nation most of them know. If you want to apply the word "stole" to players (though I reject such a term), it is when your own countries come to reap where they did not sow, taking players they did not train and raise to be outstanding players.bushboy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 4:58 pm I say "stolen" because that is exactly what it is. The value of these African lads is tied exclusively to how they can be "used" to bring glory to France. They are pawns. Big, strong black men who you cheer for on the soccer pitch but you wouldn't want dating your daughter or moving next door to you.
I am a big believer that no black person should ever feel any sense of pride or honor representing any European or white nation. They all were built on a history or violence and pillaging of Africa and other nations.
@king Futcha…what’s the story with the name “clay” lol
he is called Clay because he thinks he's Muhammad Ali and as we know they don't like being called Clay
Saints baby we did it

England being closed with their NT would somehow benefit african nations. Imagine if France did not want to play Mbappe. Cameroon or Algeria would welcome him.airwolex wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 3:25 pmGreat question. First of all the Caribbeans in the UK can ball so there is more competition. Lmao definitely not now. But yeah, they were a bit funny in the past. English fans would actually boo John Barnes, and this was in the early and mid 80s.camex wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 3:52 pmEngland being closed with their NT would somehow benefit african nations. If you think about it they were still racially abusing all the black players that missed penalties in the last Euros. That should tell you something about the Brexiters.
Re: The French African all-star team...
I recall when Barnes came in against Argentina in 1986. He made a cross that led to a goal by Gary Lineker and another one that Lineker barely missed. I always wondered why he did not start that game.airwolex wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 3:58 pmLmao definitely not now. But yeah, they were a bit funny in the past. ...I see your fear or angst. Equating foreign military with Nigeria's. My here in the western world service in the military is a job, a professional job.TonyTheTigerKiller wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 3:03 amAll the more reason why, as a Nigerian parent, you shouldn’t encourage your children to serve in a foreign military because you might end up having an unmanageable conflict of interestmcal wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 2:52 am...if he couldn't cheer for his son, why not suggest for him to not play football, or even represent his country? I have no problem with individuals doing what they have to do for self-development but there are things that shouldn’t be celebrated. Don’t you know what those armed forces represent? What if one of them is sent on a mission to your village and ends up murdering your close relatives? Would you still be proud?mcal wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 11:20 pm...absolutely nothing wrong with that, it is an achievement, whether na for here or there.TonyTheTigerKiller wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 5:04 pmBlack people largely don’t have any sense of pride. Cheers.
Especially if those kids were born and raised in France, does that not make them citizens of the land where they were born, and participate in activities, civic duties, vote and what not. Where cares about who they date, or sleep with.
I might be the only one here who felt uncomfortable seeing George Weah, President of Liberia and the foremost Liberian football personality, cheering on the US in their game against Wales. I can’t imagine that the message to Liberians was positive in any way
Cheers.
Btw, when you are in a military you swore allegiance to defend and follow the authority, you against it you become a traitor. That's the law in every country.
Cheers.
