"The Strange Case Of Pelé: GOAT or Fraud?"

This dude makes really good and well-researched sports documentaries. This one on the great Edson Arantes do Nascimento is no different. Hopefully, it educates the kids around here who think soccer only began in the YouTube age.

O Rei!

The thing about Pele is that he is probably the first true global superstar, Di Stefano was great but didn't exactly translate to Africa and North America, PEle did.

Pele has a great on-field demeanor, is not scandalous, and is always friendly,
That's what endeared him to many worldwide.
"We now live in a nation where doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge,
governments destroy freedom, the press destroys information, religion destroys morals, and our banks destroy the economy.”

― Chris Hedges
