For real. We still have the City-Liverpool meeting to look forward to. It is guaranteed at least one of them will drop points in that game. We also need to take points off City at the Etihad. Sounds difficult, but we have the quality to do it.
I want Liverpool to win that game because I think they can be reeled in. That City team, however, is a juggernaut of epic proportions.

They not only have the talent and pedigree, but also the experience to be “closers” in a title race. Of they find themselves at the top of the table in the next ten weeks, I’d be shocked if they ever relinquished that lead based on pedigree and past performance

Hm! I’m not so sure Liverpool can be reeled in o! Remember, before they played us they had only lost once(!) this season. If they beat City, I would be very worried about our chances. Best case scenario IMO is a draw in that game, but if someone has to lose, I come down on the same side as you: Let it be City

I hear you but they can’t keep scraping through and relying on last minute miracles. Remember how many Arsenal had last season before injuries eventually did us in. Living on miracles only lasts for so long and I believe pedigree matters. Next season will be a straight shootout between us and City.
Liverpool is flexing for Klopp’s last stand. They will be done once this season ends unless they are bought by some oil boys

Not with Southgate as the coach.
Remember the Belgium golden generation and Martinez?

4-2-3-1 for the Lions should be an easy call.
Foden as the 10.
Saka
Rashy on the wings
And Kane down the middle.

Bellingham and Rice as two central midfielders.
I know JB plays further up the field for Madrid but I’d drop him as a central partner with Rice for the Euros.

Two anchors is as much a Southgatism as a pinstripe waistcoat. Rashford’s form will probably see him on the bench lest he hits a purple patch in the spring.

In as much as he doesn’t trust Trent defensively and rightly so, inverting from right back to sit besides Rice would give a good platform to offer the midfield its luxury. 4-1-4-1: Gordon-Bellingham-Foden-Saka ahead of Declan Jollof Rice. Energy, innovation and more runners than a Nicaraguan drug cartel. Though a wide 3-4-3 would be the personal pick.

I totally agree with you. But will Southgate be able to deploy them as to maximize their capabilities?

Next thing the media will start calling us bullies.
We are simply devastating.

To think we still have Timber, Tomi, Zinchy not in the squad. Jesus and Partey recovering and yet to play.
Keeping fingers crossed and watching with hope.
Need to get that clean sheet and no injuries
