To be fair Zlatan did score almost 30 goals in about 53 games. Not a bad strike rate for a guy in his mid-30s. Only Kane and Aguero exceeded that.

The mistake was to believe that a 36yo could come back from a career threatening cruciate ligament injury and be the same player.

That was Mourinho's own Schweinsteiger/Falcao.

We didn't expect a lot and all we can do is thank Zlatan.

Man U players and the coach are LAZY. They can only beat City if Pep decide to field a C team :) They are just there to do fashion parade. :taunt: :tic:

reluctantly agree

where are those who will fight/die for the jersey

Off the top I'd say these will fight for the jersey: Lukaku, Herrera, Bailly, Valencia, Young, Rojo, Jones, Rashford

depends on Mourinho thinking on match day, if he says, lets go for broke and attack, attack, attack, City will suffer, if he decides his cautious approach, united will get beaten

Man City must be sick of Man Utd comebacks:

2010 EPL - City 0 v Utd 1 - Scholes scores a 93rd minute injury time winner

2010 Carling Cup - Utd 3 v City 1 - Rooney scored a 92nd minute injury time winner to send Utd through 4-3 on aggregate

2011 Community Shield - City 2 v Utd 3 - City winning 2-0 at half-time, end up losing 2-3 after Nani scores a 94th minute injury time winner

2012 EPL - City 2 v Utd 3 - RVP scores a 93rd minute injury time winner

2017 EPL - City 2 v Utd 3 - City winning 2-0 at half-time, end up losing 2-3.

WBA have lost only one of their last 6 games at Old Trafford.

That was a tepid, limp, pathetic "performance" from Man Utd. They could not even raise their game after WBA scored.

Funny enough the last time Man Utd lost to the bottom team in the EPL (Blackburn in 2012) - it caused a ruckus in the team that led to Pogba leaving in frustration to join Juventus. That was the (in)famous game where Man Utd had an injury crisis and had no fit senior midfielders. Pogba thought SAF would pick him. Instead SAF picked Fabio da Silva (a full back) and Phil Jones (a CD) to play in CM ahead of Pogba. That was the last straw for Pogba who thought if he could not get a game in CM (his position) ahead of defenders, the end was nigh...

Non-prominent Zinedine ZePog nowhere near Team of the Year. As foretold. #ColourMeBad.
