you're reading too much fake news
what turmoil?

Next you'll come and say Martial is unhappy bc he got no minutes.

did you even read the article?
How many of City's players came through the ranks?

It's not about City... it's about ManU telling him to focus on developing the in-house talents. Yes I read it. But as usual you see anything United and you automatically develop a hissy fit and go on the defensive.
:?

you posted a very poorly written piece with NO quotes...just conjecture; and now you're wondering why it's being questioned lol
Jose gave academy players more minutes than any of the Top 6 teams, so right off the bat the report is junk
(Lingard, Rashford, McTominay)

United desperately needs a LB and RB, but hey, let's just c/p an article from a rag paper

You have two fullbacks you paid a combined upwards of $50million for barely three years ago and yet you claim with a straight face that United "Desperately" needs fullbacks. Mourinho wasn't the one who discovered Lingard or Rashford. I'd give him credit for continuing to give Rashford playing time but both were already in the first team prior to Mourinho joining.

Dude, the fact that those are the only players you could conjure up in Mourinho's entire coaching history proves my point.

full backs:
valencia, young (too old)
shaw (at the time of the article being written was still 50/50)
fosu-mensah, tuanzebe (loan)
darmian (crap)

i'm talking about JM's time at United, not caring what he done elsewhere

As i already stated he's given the most minutes to youth. If they are good, they'll get promoted (McTominay)

Actually the media was mistaken. TFM has gone to Fulham (loan) not Hertha!

Very impressed with young Andreas Pereira's performance yesterday. Looked very comfortable on the ball and his distribution is good. His match stats v Leicester:

*91% pass accuracy
*75 touches
*58 passes
*gained possession 11 times
*4 fouls conceded
*4 clearances
*3 tackles won
*3 interceptions

I always wonder why coaches go out and spend 40-50 million on players who will be no more than squad rotation players when they often have a player just as good in the youth team. If you need a "part-time" player to play 20-25 games a season, why break the bank when you can elevate a homegrown player? SAF was excellent at doing this with the likes of O'Shea, Brown, Welbeck etc.

Could this be the breakthrough season for young Andreas Pereira?

His time is up.....he knows the ship has sailed and left him behind..all he is doing is looking for means to get the sack

Right now i believe it, he has started criticising his players after a few games, whats the big deal about pre season? Do we have to win all the games? I just hope the board know what they are doing, better to get rid of him, no top team will touch him anymore in Europe, he is acting like damaged goods

we got all 3 points but Leicester dominated the game, that is worrying as we will come up against better sides, i just guess players are still a bit rusty, we will see in the next couple of weeks

so after this Pogba also comes out with his own comments that get the media going. I think player power might be a problem at united the likes of Martial and Pogba need to just get on with it, i doubt Guardiola would put up with their inconsistant form and subsequent sulking.

Maybe Pepe will not go for players with such baggage. Better still, maybe he would have done away with such players :taunt:

Any suggestion of Mourinho getting rid of those two will trigger massive outcry worldwide.
I hope Pogba clarifies his comments and its no big deal. But Martial and Pogba strike me as players who will cut and run soon as things dont go their, even under someone else who is nopirinho

lol i am more upset at those who believe what the msm is constantly spewing.

OK re United, Darmian wants to leave so we wish him well.

Martial. I am not so sure about his feelings, but I am sure he will stay and fight for his place as Luke Shaw has done
Pogba. non- issue

I have seen some stories about United planning to install a director of football.
I think that should have been done soon as Fergie retired, like what Arsenal has done, United's transfer policy after Fergie has been too haphazard

SAF was the last of his kind. You could invest total power in a man who knew the club from top to bottom and who prowled the Old Trafford touchline for 27 years. Given the short-term nature of modern management (Man Utd had 4 managers in 3 years after SAF's retirement) that is now unrealistic. Modern elite football teams are simply too large to leave one person in charge of all footballing matters.

As Mourinho said, after SAF left Man Utd "bought players I would never buy" (Darmian, Varela, Falcao, Schneiderlin, Bastian) and "sold players I would never sell" (Nani, Di Maria, Fletch, Welbs, Chicharito, Rafa).
