The core of a good future team is there with Rashford, Martial, Lukaku, Pogba, Lingard, Shaw, Bailly, Dalot, Pereira (all 25 or under), and Tuanzebe, Gomes, Chong, and Greenwood potentially waiting in the wings of the first team. Only if Ravel Morrison had his head screwed on straight and Zaha and Januzaj had worked out...

yes, these players you mentioned need to step up and be counted, i think the pace of the premiership has caught the likes of Fred and dalot by surprise! they dont give you time on the ball, as a brazillian, i expect you to be able to maintain possession even under pressure, learn from Pogba, when Pogba does not play, our midfield gets caught all over the place, a player like Perreira should be able to deputise for Pogba, his passing range is quite good and he is skillful, however the last game aginst Reading, he was caught all over the place, is this still the Mourinho effect? i will give all the players the benefit of the doubt, right now they all have to step up and lest see what they can do

not really news, united have been up there in the financial stakes! but like you said, we need to re-invest on the pitch, at the end of the season, some players have to leave, they have between now and the end to prove themselves!

:agree:

this is 100% needed

last Jan Liverpool bought VVD for 75MM. WE have to break the bank for 1 or 2 WC defenders

If i was the coach, i will already have a hit list to leave

Mata, felliani, Mctomminay, fred, sanchez, Jones, darmian, valencia, Young

in this list, possibly Fred/ sanchez needs to be given more time till the end of the season, sanchez earns far too much to give us 40%, the rest have to leave and free up space for other players, Mctominay can be sent out on loan

you need youth and experience + WINNERS

Young, Sanchez are winners and have experience
Jones is a great backup

If Sanchez does not perform by the end of the season, he needs to go, his wages are too high and can free up space for 2 other players we need

Is it a bit soon to ditch Fred after half a season? Jonesy is actually a good player when he is fit enough to play (which admittedly is not very often). Sanchez needs to justify his huge pay packet before he goes anywhere. McTominay would do well at Stoke or Sunderland.

Just 3 terrible coaches left us a bit behind especially the last coach, last 6 months no semblance to a football team, well thats done and dusted

We need to announce to the big boys we back by giving a good account of ourselves this weekend

Whoever sd Obedtan to United should be arrested for scamming the club. Just looking at Obertan you know he is not fit for United. Not even Brighton

TFCO, from that list of last 20 buys, I do not think RVP, DDG, Young, Chicharito, Berbatov, Jonesy, Smalling, Tony V were wastepipes. Henrique, and Tosic, never actually played for the club, De Laet played once, and Tosic's entire Man Utd career consisted of 30 minutes on the pitch. Zaha, Obertan, and Lindegaard barely played for the first team either.

even Sir Alex forced a lot of mileage out of waste pipes! yes we have not done too well in that transfer market, this is not only unique to United, other teams have made dodgy transfers, look at Coutinho for barcelona, he cant even get a game these days, so yes the problem has been identified, now it needs to be fixed

all 3 coaches since ferguson left have to be considered in the same context as waste pipes as well

The crazy thing is that they still nearly won the title. They finished equal on points with City (who won the title after a 94th minute goal in the final game of the season with the final kick of the season).

true

and then SAF did 4 1 9 on us by appointing Moyes.
who continued the 4 1 9 by replacing the backroom staff

Moyes was out of his depth, LVG was just an outdated coach, Mourinho just used the same tactics and failed woefully when it was apparent some his techniques belonged to the stone ages

Jose overachieved with this set of players
2nd place
FA Cup final...and that was last season

Moyes - agree
LVG - too focused on youth and possession
