That bad patch of 2 points out of 12 was a killer. Xhaka’s Penalty was final nail.

Disappointing season, but we are on the up.
Finished ONCE more behind Spurs (who spent $0 and had their best player always injured).
Spurs in the finals of CL football.

We stunk when it mattered most. We would have needed only one more win and we couldn't do it.

One or both may finish trophiless.

But, when they went head to head, one got 4 points out of 6 while the other got 1. Which one got more points? :sneaky:

Mind you I agree Spurs is the better team..

Arsenal and Man U gave up over 50 goals this season. Very poor.

And Chelsea scored only 63 PL goals. Poor.

Lets see how the 3 power houses re-up for the coming season. For sure Man C and Liverpool will not relent.

Have been giant killers in DFB-Pokal last few seasons. Beat Inter, Benfica, Lazio, Donetsk and took Chelsea to PK's.
They are the weaker team, chelsea was the better team on both leg.
Chelsea is a good team when they decide to play, the league cup final they give City a run .
We just have to beat chelsea they are not playing great ,Our defense need to wake up before Hazard slice us
They certainly were not weaker than Chelsea. Not over 2 legs and not in this competition, Chelsea were gifted easy draw after easy draw, Kyiv, Malmoe, Slavia Prague whilst Frankfurt faced gauntlet of inter, Donetsk, and Benfica.

Chelsea a one man team, with serious issues at CF. Frankfurt have sniper in Luka Jovic and team that defends at a high level. Nah man, give me an overrated Chelsea over Frankfurt 365/24/7.

Not just the better team, but now the bigger club. They have finished above you multiple times now and it will continue.

Disagree on Sarri.

Sarri was given 140 MP pound injection, Emery given a paltry 70 MP. Sarri had virtually 1st team available for entire season, Emery had no Kos until December, lost Holding, Bellerin and Welbeck for the season. Emery was still on course for third and than lost Ramsey for rest of season.

Also Emery path to EL final far more impressive i.e Rennes, Napoli and Valencia.

Cap this year with the trophy on May 29th by beating Chelsea whichever way you can.

Afterward, dash Mustaffa to whoever is silly enough to accept him, take the loss.
Xhaka? Have a first come first serve, anyone that pays up to 10mil can have him.
Litch? Get a pass to an old people's home for him.

Chelsea has transfer window ban issues - so it's back to kids loaned out etc.
ManU more than us will lose Big Bank trying to get rid of players - losing @home to relegated Cardiff with a strong line up on the last day speaks volumes.
