Spurs still not in full flow. We have also been wasteful. Perhaps fortunate that we are facing Huddersfield. This crowd is hostile. Abeg when is the next dive.

Hudd playing like they are tired as they are giving the ball sloppily. Good save by Gazza again.

What are the odds that all the matches in progress would be 2 nil each?

We definitely need Eriksen. Pouch, you have one more sub on the bench, use it. Oh, here comes Sissoko for Son.

Good victory. Didn't play excellently well but all the same 3 points in the bag. On to Barca on Wednesday.

End game. Ref became poor towards the end. Let the crowd get to him

2 different teams, venue and player selection. Eriksen should be back likewise Lloris.

Back to the Champions League we go. A competition where only one team from London is playing in .

First game against Inter we had a great game plan, executed it brilliantly until the last 10 minutes when we allowed them back in and ended up gifting them the match and all 3 points. It was a match we had no business losing. Against Barcelona we have an opportunity to right that mistake. It is going to be especially challenging considering 5 first team players are going to be out. The players out are the bedrock and spine of the team however this is where the character of the team is going to be tested. Any other team would be quavering in their boots at the prospect of playing Barcelona and would give up the ghost if at least 3 of their first team players won't be available, talkless 5. But this is no ordinary team. This is Totthenham. The only HotSpur in existence. The team that knows no fear. A team that defied the odds by beating Real Madrid last season and winning their group comfortably with a match to spare. It is no wonder why the team's motto is: To Dare Is To Do.

On the injury front the following players will not be available: Eriksen, Dele, Dembele, Jan and Aurier. Back from injury is Lloris and it has been confirmed he will reclaim his position. Sissoko and Wanyama have had a few minutes here and there to try and build up their match fitness. Regardless of who starts the team is not going to have a proper balance as our #1 and #2 creative midfielders are absent. The key to victory will be restricting Messi's movement in and around the box as all Messi needs is a little room to cause maximum damage. In addition to Messi we have to lookout for Suarez. The right tactics to hold back Barcelona is to dominate the midfield and put them on the back foot. We are not a defensive side therefore trying to defend most of 90 minutes rather than attack will be an exercise in futility.

My team for tomorrow will be like this:

      • Kane

    • Son * Moura

      • Lamela

    • Wanyama * Winks

Rose * Sanchez * Toby * Trippier

      • Lloris

Poch has described Winks as his little Iniesta. Winks proved his mantle when in similar situation last season, he took on Real all by himself at the Bernabeu and made sure Spurs left with a point. This is going to be his opportunity to prove that was not a fluke.

It is bound to be an exciting match but with a 90 thousand capacity crowd expected they should be able to use their voice to left the players and lead them to a memorable victory.

Come On You Spurs! Come On You Spurs!! Come On You Spurs!!!

Players out
Verntonghen
Eriksen
Alli
Dembele
Aurier

Creativity will be a big issue. Very quietly confident or should I say hopeful of some result but my head is saying something totally different. I hope my heart is right

Haba spuds oh
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.
