Guys, this technology is still making me scratch my head on how it's done. Looks like there's a magnet or something in the cup... Yoi, yoi, yoi... any ideas?

I strongly believe it will be in the interest of our season for Daniel Levy to call in MP and ask him if he wants to leave for United and if its a yes he should free him quickly and let him go whilst we look elsewhere for a manager, the entire British press will destabilize our season starting from this morning and I think it is totally disrespectful to be firmly linking MP with the job with some bookies no longer taking bets. The Harry Redknapp saga is still very fresh in our recent history and I believe DL must be ready to just let him go now rather than wait till May if indeed he is keen on going.

There's always a concerted effort by the media to favor the likes of Man United etc and it starts with their ex players. It's like they are the ones selling every good player, manager etc and they keep at it non stop.

One must understand that's how the game is. They write the script. They tout your best players to the big clubs. Once they turn the head of your players and the club has no choice but to let them go then they turn around and accuse you of being a selling club.

They tout your manager to the big clubs, I still remember the way they were advertising Harry for the England job. Once your manager leaves then they turn around and accuse you of lacking ambition.

The good thing is Tottenham has always proven to be resilient and I can bet my last Dollar that Levy would have been looking at option in case Poch gets too big for his own boot. What he did to Harry showed no manager is bigger than the club

There are also four changes to the Tottenham side which recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Burnley in their Premier League match on Saturday.
Harry Winks, Christian Eriksen, Paulo Gazzaniga and Son Heung-min come in for Harry Kane, Erik Lamela, Hugo Lloris and Oliver Skipp.

Tottenham XI: Gazzaniga, Trippier, Alderweireld, Davies, Rose, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Alli, Lucas, Son

Compare to Spurs strongest lineup

Lloris, Aurier, Alderwiereld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dembele, Dier, Eriksen, Son, Alli, Kane

6 first choice out. Good luck to the boys! COYS!!

Very strong side. I am a bit surprised at the benching of Foyth for Davis at CB. Surprised and pleased Danny is playing another game because he has been having fitness issues.

I think Foyth is coming back from injury.

There is nothing to ask. Poch will always be asked this kind of stupid question anytime a big club manager position opens up. It is inevitable. Poch has said time and again he is at Spurs to build a legacy and as long as he continues to get the backing of Levy then he will stay. The one thing Levy has done to get Poch's faith is that he did not sell any of the big players over the last 2 seasons. Kyle Walker's case was unique because he refused to play and Poch wanted him gone. One more thing, Poch preaches the importance of loyalty and the players have bought into it. He vowed never to coach Barcelona because of his time at Espanyol. He has got them to believe they are all on a journey and they have to arrive the destination as a unit. Him leaving would mean his word can no longer be trusted.

If he leaves he would have a short term gain but on the long run his credibility will be massively hurt as the press will never let him forget. He has turned down Real Madrid already so it shouldn't be a big deal to turn the job at Old Trafford down either.

That makes sense. Him and Sanchez were both on the road to recovery over the weekend.

Effect of Spurs midfield being very light. Injuries to Dembele, Dier, Wanyama, Amos is killing us. Poch could probably ask Alli to drop back a bit.
