Breaking now.. Jose has agreed a 3 years deal with Roma..

Henrik Mikhitareyan just threw up his brunch smh.
I think Serie A became quite interesting.
I think he will do well there.
Their style of football suits him.

Danfo where is Benitez now?

How come Jose is always getting 'top' jobs like this?

@Wana, whilst Roma represents a decline from the upper echelons of Madrid, Milan and Manchester, what better a place than the eternal city for the ailing emperor to make one last stand. Perfect league, perfect club, perfect pairing. Romans are by birth stoic, a quality quintessential to Mourinhism. Is it too late for Fellani? If ever there’s a league partial to seniority, ‘tis Serie A. Very interesting appointment, odds on for Champions League qualification.

In addendum, @Wana, Rafa will be picked up in the summer, Fulham, Palace, Derby (big bucks takeover looming) are likely to be available jobs. Couple quid on Lampard to Palace, should Roy succumb to the wanton wisps of freshly brewed Horlicks brownian motioning towards the olfactory neurones. Scantily clad with plenty of jiggle.

Celtic’s another shout for Big Ben.

Just surprised at how easy it is for a 'failure' like JM to keep getting jobs while Rafa seems to be scorned by the 'top' clubs :)

'Top' is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence.

Serie A about to get hot. Will Juventus persist with Pirlo? How will the Special one be received by the Nerazzurri? Chei!! It is hot hot hot.

...Jose has worked in Italy so they know and or understand him and his antics, plus most fired coaches are not of their own doing, could be poor players not executing what they were instructed. This what most owner may be thinking while hiring a fired coach.

A few years ago a forumer here known for his association with Jose's derriere scoffed at the idea JM would "succumb" to coach a team like Roma.

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

And what hurts them the most is that Roma has a billionaire owner. And a Yankee at that! You know Yanks like doing things big! Another 30 million in Mou's pocket!  you can see the anger and pain from the destitute who are struggling to feed their families and in deep wretchedness, watching one man "kaching!" :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
