Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

I did NOT say it was a wrong call. But the victims have been the smaller or non European teams all tourney.

they don't play the same position, what does one have to do with the other?

heath also won the first (legit) pk, you'd have to try to be this clueless, amazing

The French goalkeeper must be related to Akpeyi. She was super useless and was at fault for the 1st goal. She also should have saved the 2nd US goal as well. Sh!!ty GKs costs teams championships. We will learn the hard and painful way if we keep starting Akpeyi in goal.

I'm watching ITALY vs NETHERLANDS

A very technical game. Best match of the tournament by a mile IMHO. Our girls need to see this game. It's a shame one of the teams will be heading home today.
I applaud both coaches

Superfluous info. It is Italy vs Netherlands after all. Both countries live and breathe tactics and produce loads of tactical innovations and coaches.

Jill Ellis has benched Megan, there must be an injury, no other explanation... if it were any other team aside from England I would root for them.
