...Ecuador fell behind by 1 goal and resort to playing rough so early, now they are down to 10 men.

...the South America region invites 2 outside countries every time the tournament comes around.
Remember the continent only have fewer countries, so they invite top sides or winners of their respective championship to participate.
One of these days dem go invite an African country.

Why are Qatar and Japan playing in the Copa America?
As the South American football federation (Conmebol) only has ten members, additional invitees are required to create a workable tournament structure.

Initially, six extra teams - three from North America and three from Asia - were set to be invited in order to create a 16-team tournament, as was the case for the 2016 competition in the United States.

Why are Qatar and Japan in Copa America 2019, and did they qualify ...

I wasn't all that impressed with Chile.

They are playing a Japan olympic team which the majority of players have ZERO CAPS.

During the first half Japan was the better team for much of the match. They are inexperienced and gave up cheap goals.

Not impressed with Chile at all.

Brazil looks useless sha.
2 of the finest indigenous coaches Nigeria ever had lost in a space of 4 days. Dear Lord, is this a sign that you are taking away from us what we failed to appreciate? I pray for forgiveness of our sins. I pray for the humility to recognize our wrongs and the humbleness and wisdom to right our ways.

REST IN PEACE COACH STEPHEN KESHI!!! REST IN PEACE COACH AMODU SHAIBU!!!
