Downplay National Anthems Prior to A Match

This is one change I'd like to see in international matches, more so in tournaments than in a two-nation matchup. Why? Because, every time the national anthem is played and the camera is focused on the players, you them belting out the words in seeming nationalistic fervor, a cheap opportunity to demonstrate cheap patriotism. Same with the fans in the stand. Then the players proceed to take this attitude to the field. reacting to every hard play by the opponent as if it is an attack on their national honor. I've even read where tv watchers at home (France, to be precise in prior men's tournament) are watching the players, the children of immigrants, to see if they are singing, or even to know the words of, the national anthem. The national anthem was something done to recognize and honor participating nations but that has been hijacked by nationalists. Downplaying would not away from the game.
