Problem is you really cannot discern what Frank's football is about. Perhaps he doesn't yet have all the personnel, but still...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

One year at derby and they gave him the job. Arsenal gave 3 guys a shot at the job after Wenger but no Vierra or Thierry Henry. First to be hired and fired.

Injuries. Soft pk. Even softer red card. Lampard has his shortcomings but today’s game had less to do with lamps than the aforementioned.

No wahala. It’s only a cup and not important in the grand scheme of things. Top 4 was the best prize possible for Lampard and co this season so it’s job well done. That said there’s lots of room for improvement.

It should not have been a second yellow on Kova. But Lamp was terrible with his game management today.

Too many headaches from him this season already.

Riding against the wind today with the injuries.

2nd YC for the RC was uncalled for. But the Azpi foul was a PK.

FA Cup I think would have gone some way to insulate Frank from the pressure he'll be under next year.

Still cannot figure out what his football is about...

Lampard was really exposed as a bit limited today. He has much time to improve though.

Still, a better manager would get a lot more from this Chelsea team.
