Now reports are claiming Bayern and Wenger are in talks. Hmmm...
Arsène Wenger at Arsenal, 1996 to 2018. I was there.

Wenger, Emery and Arsenal's decline are just symptomatic of a deeper issue traceable to an owner whose only interest is the bottom line.

They aren't ready to spend good money (Please £70 - 80m for a winger is no biggie in the modern game).

If they were serious either Wenger should have been given financial backing sooner or sacked sooner.

I also get that not many top coaches were available when Wenger was sacked but this is still the fault of the club. They should have timed it when Pep and Klopp were available. Hence, I said the Wenger sacking should have been sooner for a serious minded board.

However, I am a realist. These managers that I mentioned can read when a club is serious for a title challenge. The cues Arsenal has been giving oof for years that CL qualification was good enough must have signalled to these managers that we weren't serious title contenders.

So we are where we are after seriously losing our way strategically.

When is Emery leaving ?Arsenal is in serious decline under him. Compare how. Helena is playing under Lampard a first year coach in EPL with Emeribe Arsenal. This is not just about communication alone simply the guy is just not good.

Sacking Emery won't solve Arsenal problems. Keeping him won't do it either.

We need real change. Every one should be fired. We also need new owners.

Football people in management. Football owner that is willing to invest to put in a winning product. I am not talking about spending money like Man city. Go and get what you need to win. If you need defenders, go get defenders.
Winners do it the right way.

Its complicated. As Wenger said, the guys who want him are leaving. The former Adidas guy is going to be the next CEO of Bayern. How is his relationship with Wenger? Wenger wouldnt want to jump into an unknown future. Even if he signs a 3 year contract, that guy can come in and sack him next summer and put in his own man.

Looks like a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 formation depending on the deployment of Ozil. Either way, it is moment-of-truth time for Emery today!

If you are correct, then we stand a chance. This is the formation we should have been playing all season once we decided to sign David Luis. Nevertheless, regardless of the result today, the handlers should know that Emeribe cannot take this club forward.

Arsenal desperately needs a coach, there’s ZERO coach’s input in this team.

The best thing about this half of football was the formation. Luis and Chambers have been very good. Holding is not match sharp. I have said that signing Luis has never been an issue. He is a very good player as the center of a back 3. Also there were glimpses of Swagger with Ozil, Auba, and Laca up top. Both teams could have scored. Also, Torriera at the base has been good. Altogether, one of Emeriberibe's best halfs, from formation to player selection.

IN other words, I am impressed with today's defense, and happy we are not 2 goals down.

This coach took an offensive team and reduced it to a drab, watch paint dry team. When will they fire this dude?
