what the heck do these managers see in Willock?
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Strangely, I am relieved we are just one goal down.

Ljumberg like Willock is not ready. This not under 23 footy.I have seen enough in two games to make that decision the earlier the better. In the next 2 games we will be 14th on the league table if something is not done.

Auba wasted wide - change that. Pepe for Laca
If I give you a good wine, you will see how it tastes and after you ask where it comes from,'' ""To put players in my team who are not good enough will not strengthen the England team, and would weaken the Arsenal team.''The only thing I can say is that whenever England do not win it is always my fault, even when I am not at the game".Wenger said.

Looks like Ljunberg still thinks these are U-23 matches or is fully drunk on the "talent" of the young players. I still don't how Pepe cannot do better than what we are seeing now.

The fans need to stick with the team here, don’t boo them.....new manager, new approach etc.

The set up is good, this team just needs a goal to get going. My only issue is I can’t see the benefit of Willock so high up the pitch in the middle, especially when you have Xhaka and Torreira holding already in a home game. Ozil should be in the middle and Pepe should be brought in. I can understand what Freddie is doing though, when a team is in trouble you go for strength, legs and stability first.

The team is not disjointed as it was under Emeribe, they just need a goal to believe in what they are doing and get the zip into their passing.

He’s garbage like the majority of the “famed” legacy youth system. Not worth the bother. Freddie Gunnar Solksjaer is playing the British “youth” card, buys a little extra time, which it inevitably squanders. Send them all to the Championship. A season of rough and tumble pulled the balls through the gubernaculum for the Chelsea boys. All too molley-coddled at Ashburton.

It should have been obvious to the manager that Pepe should have started ahead of Laca.

This looks like trying to keep the team balance more than tactics. I am concerned about Freddie.

Whatever that setup is, it is coming up against a well drilled Brighton side and is looking to go only one way.

Xhaka is the best player on the field today. I don't know what some people see when they watch soccer.

Don't understand why some peeps still thinks Ozil has any relevance to this team. He strolls more than half of the game and offers fack all to our defensive game. Waste of space

Anyone would be crap in whatever tactical formation the manager had in mind today. What's the plan anyways?

Brighton was dictating the tempo and direction of the game most of the second half. I can't think of one standout performance from any Arsenal player. Torreira maybe but its been piss poor all round.

He has been as good as he has been bad. People tend to remember the bad. You can't blame them for that.
