I'll like to see the number of games Spurs have thrown away from winning positions since Mourinho took over

You can blame Dier all you want but if the Coach's game plan is to let the other team have the ball and continually attack the defence something is going to give eventually. This is not the first time we have seen it from Spurs under Mourinho

very very very poor tactics. very poor. Tottenham will continue to suffer like this until a change is made.

Hasn’t that style of play been Mourinho’s calling card?
So what’s the surprise here?

What I don't get is why JoMo said the attackers were tired. Can they be tired? How come ManU's attackers were all looking fresh? Lamela disappointed me today. Very early in the 2nd half he messed up 2 chances to set up scoring opportunities. I just hope he will do better in the remaining games and will just put this down to the first game back after 100 days of non-football.

How come it is only his attackers who are tired? Every other team that has played, their attackers have run themselves to the ground. Who is he calling a f00l?? :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Guys, when you watch Leicester play, how do you feel? Its amazing how a club with lesser quality players can string 3 passes together, isnt it?

Some observations
Mourinho only used 2 of the 5 subs he was allowed.
Kane played the whole game despite being out for 6 months and will probably be expected to start on tuesday.
Lamela had also being injured for some time before the lockdown and was predominantly played on the right wing throughout his Spurs career, you can't expect him to come in and suddenly play the No.10 position perfectly.
Attackers were probably tired because they spent so much time defending.
The issue isn't whether Mourinho is a good coach but whether he is a good fit for Spurs considering the current state of our squad and the lack of finance to shape the squad to his own requirements.

I said this yesterday:
Kane will have no choice but to leave Tottenham, because his days of scoring 30 goals is over. Mourinho's football favors the likes of Bergwijn and Son who can play on the counter-attack. Kane is useless in that system. Either Mourinho learns new tricks or Kane has to leave because he will just useless Kane's career.

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

This is the game that will tell us so much about what JoMo is bringing to the table. It is the first time he will have at his disposal the compliment of his entire attacking force. Lucas and Dele are back together with those who played on Friday. The Spammers are on a bad run of form but this is one fixture their tail is always up for. Like last season when they were on a poor run of games they upped their antenna for this fixture and dealt us the first loss on our shiny new ground. This is certainly a must win match in pursuit of top 5 finish.

The Center Back pairing of Davis and Sanchez continues. Hopefully they will continue their run of good form. Lamela and Bergwijn drop to the bench in favor of Dele and Lucas. Midfield of Sissoko and Winks changed to Sissoko and LoCelso.

Lineup looks promising.

Kane is moving rather nicely around the pitch.
