I thought he was a free agent this season? Boy is ruining his career. He's never going to get first team playing time there. He should have stayed with Valencia where he was doing very well.

Eliaquim Mangala has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Manchester City until 2020.
The French international joined City from Porto in 2014 and has made 81 appearances during his time at the Etihad.
He spent a season on loan with Valencia during 2016-17, before returning to Manchester and making 17 appearances as a record-breaking City celebrated both Premier League and Carabao Cup success.

Do you know that Gabriel Jesus was one of those who volunteered in painting the streets of Rio in readiness for the 2014 world cup in Brazil? Such a passionate Brazilian.cchinukw wrote:This is what it means to play for your country.Senator WIRES wrote: And Jesus Wept

Chief, I did not say he is a bad player. I just think he is ruining his career by staying at Man City. I doubt that he will get any regular playing time with City--they think his style does not suit their way of playing. Unless they have managed to change him.kajifu wrote:Haba Uncle he is not a bad player,Kompany gone, pep was begging him to stay and no club could offer him same salary.ohsee wrote:WTF? Manchester City's pre-season got off to a disastrous start on Saturday after the Premier League champions were left stranded at home instead of flying to Asia on tour.
Pep Guardiola's squad were due to jet off to China for the first leg of their trip at 6pm but an administration error by Thomas Cook Sport saw the flight cancelled.
Staff were left milling around Manchester Airport in confusion as they attempted to ascertain the extent of the issue, while players were told not to bother making their way to the airport.
It is understood the blunder meant City's plane, stuck on the runway, could not enter the Chinese airspace and they will instead travel on Sunday.
The dramatic events pose a significant headache for the club, who are now 24 hours behind schedule ahead of a gruelling two weeks in Asia.
City first game of the Premier League Asia Trophy is against West Ham United in Nanjing on Wednesday.
There is a race against time for Guardiola to make his first press conference of the campaign, pencilled in for Monday in Shanghai. City had planned to launch their new Puma third strip on the same day and it remains to be seen whether that now changes.
After a week in China, City head to Hong Kong and Japan – playing four games in total – before taking on Liverpool in the Community Shield on August 4.
City said in a statement: 'Due to an unforeseen administrative issue beyond the Club's control, which is being resolved, regrettably, we will embark on our pre-season tour a little later than intended.
'We will now travel tomorrow and look forward to taking part in the Premier League Asia Trophy as planned.'
A Thomas Cook Sport spokesman told Sportsmail on Sunday: 'Due to an administrative error with third parties Manchester City's flight with Aeronexus has had to be delayed a day. We are working hard to resolve this issue and the team are due to depart today.'
Fabian Delph is not part of the touring group as he seals a move worth up to £10million to Everton. Aston Villa are spending £15m on another midfielder, Douglas Luiz, who is also absent from the squad. Leroy Sane, a target for Bayern Munich, will travel.
MAN CITY'S TRAVELLING SQUAD
Claudio Bravo, Kyle Walker, Danilo, John Stones, Raheem Sterling, Ilkay Gundogan, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Angelino, Aymeric Laporte, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane, Bernardo Silva, David Silva, Daniel Grimshaw, Lukas Nmecha, Nabili Zoubdi Touaizi, Gavin Bazunu, Jose Angel Pozo, Tommy Doyle, Luke Bolton, Aleix Garcia, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Adrian Bernabe, Ian Poveda, Ben Knight, Phil Foden*
*Phil Foden will join the tour squad in Hong Kong SAR
Manchester City top new ranking of football's best teams in the world... but United are THIRTY-FOURTH behind Young Boys, PAOK, Everton and Eibar
Football analysts at FiveThirtyEight came up with a system of ranking teams
Manchester City were ranked first with German giants Bayern Munich in second
Liverpool were third, Chelsea in fifth, Tottenham in 12th and Arsenal in 28th
Manchester United were 34th behind the likes of Young Boys, PAOK and Eibar
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footb ... -34th.htmlThe ratings refer to the number of goals the team would be expected to score against an average team on a neutral field and a defensive rating that represents the number of goals they would be expected to concede.
These ratings produce an SPI rating which gives a percentage of available points - a win is worth three, a draw worth one, and a loss worth none.
I love Chelsea but whoever came up with these rankings must have been smoking some cheap weed.Manchester City top new ranking of football's best teams in the world... but United are THIRTY-FOURTH behind Young Boys, PAOK, Everton and Eibar
