No foul. He was protecting the ball with his body, and just got bumped off it. It's the refs call. You can't do that against a strong man like Traore.

What Mendy did there is what causes fight in the dressing room, a stupid moment from a stupid player. You are in the box, you had about 10 seconds or so and a space of about 10 - 20 yards distance from the opponent, the ball was dead and hardly moving, instead of hoofing the ball away since it was on your favored leg, you decided to turn around like a kuluso to block a player built like a tank like Adama.

The asininity of his his action is that because he was in gh box there was little or nothing he could once he loses the ball, any touch on Adama would be a penalty.
