There is no 6 they like now. They will use Endo and Baljcetic for now. Klopp probably feels this is a talent he had to have. Maybe another 6 in future.

First proper glimpse of the new LFC team..

Thought this game was about control. Controlled possession with Macca at the absolute center of it. Only thing missing from his performance was the balls over the top to spring that Villa high line…

The commentator on NBC Jim Beglin described the game at some point as almost casual, which I thought was hilarious.

This was two managers in a cat and mouse; the Spaniard setting traps, hiding players in the weeds of MF (Diaby esp) and waiting to spring the counter.

Klopp on the other hand using Macca in the deep role to control the game and determine the time and place to break forward… And using late runners from MF to diversify the attack and keep the Villa defence on its toes…

I suspect the full lineup in MF will be Macca in the deep role, rotating with Szobo on the right and Gravenbech on the left; with Endo as the closer...

If you include the Newcastle game itself, that is like missing 3 games! And $100,000 fine.
My view on red card is, Introduce power play like in hockey. Have the team play 10 men for 10 minutes and then back to 11 v 11. The offending player misses the rest of the game. Don't punish fans the opportunity of a good game. 10 v 11 so early in the game makes the game boring to watch.
