@Tx, the possession was to activate Alacantra presumably. A case of the Juan Sebastians. Liverpool were pathetic, the egg and cress, apologies gegenpress, left creases over both shirt and trouser. The type of creases that would have Baba Segi flog Tope to within an inch of mincemeat. Reconstituted.

One of the first times I've watched Liverpool under Klopp and I truly couldn't make out what they were trying to do...

The possession made zero sense; same with the pressing...even the subs...
Honestly baffled by it all. Especially each of the subs. Best presser left on the bench for 90 mins... and Milner is brought on for what?

Chelsea controlled every aspect of that game.
I mean, Mendy could've smoked a cigar out there!

The Milner sub was particularly head scratching!
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

When you win the title by cheating, this is what happens when the refs stop giving you fake penalties-- you cant compete at the highest level.

The game in front of him is what matters - not how well Ox does rondos in training. The game was salvageable; Klopp made bad calls this time.

Did not like his overall management of that game. And his persistence with the high line, even when team lacks the personnel to execute it and at the same time is not pressing well. Not a good look for JK...

Klopp has made baffling decisions all year. His persistence with 433 when he does not have the personnel to play it the way he likes. And ruining the midfield to help the defense. Last 2 years, he played with 4231 at times when playing against sit deep teams. Why not now. Why not play Tiago with Fabinho in a 2 deep midfield role? And bringing in Ox and Milner, to do what? Even at Dortmund he played 4231 at times. That being said, players are playing under par. I don’t see that constant hustle from Mane and Firmino would make those outrageous touch to set up goals at times and at times, his 1st touch is horrible leading to quick counter. Gini tries his best but he isn’t a DM

Y'all need to read up on how your club has been using caffeine and other allowed performance enhancers on your players. Medics have warned that if it continues this season, wahala go dey for your players. This season is Liverpool without enhancers.

The above is a theory from the web including a published article. I just think your players are suffering the same thing Spurs players were and some are still in. Over use at high intensity. At least y'all won something.

Liverpool: Alisson, N. Williams, Phillips, R. Williams, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Shaqiri, Salah, Jota.

Subs: Adrian, Fabinho, Thiago, Mane, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Tsimikas, Origi, Alexander-Arnold.

7 changes. Team needs it. Fulham plays with a lot of intensity. Hope we can match them. Need a win badly is a big understatement. Let’s go RedMen! YNWA...
