When you're winning the dice roll your way. It just seem like you can do no wrong. The opposite is the same when you're close to the drop zone.
The pressure of setting a "record" can also be a weight too heavy to carry.

theDunamis wrote:What a terrible Liverpool performance. But take nothing away from Watford. From the first minute they were on Liverpool like white on rice and Liverpool seemed quite uninterested in doing anything about it. The score line may not reflect the teams but it certainly does the day.
Its almost impossible for any team to maintain Liverpools incredible level of play for an entire season. These kinds of game are bound to happen to anyone, unless you are 2003/2004 Arsenal

All credit to Watford. But funny thing is, they didn’t have to do much...

Well, sh1t happens...

Thought we might stumble at some point; but more from the Atleti game...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

The same sh1t has been happening to other teams laong the way. There are some games Liverpool just managed to scrape through and they didn't have to do much.
This is just a blip. The record might be gone but the title is still very much on track.

About time jam ran out for the jammy dodgers. Tonight Liverpool were left with Lady Marmalade. Tremendous.

I am not particularly a Liverpool FC fan.
Just saying they will not be having an undefeated season like some people have been saying.

...football fatigue, European fatigue, it's bound to happen.
Left the game at beginning of 2nd half and shocked to read 3-zip.
Watford won with long ball, tiki taka is old news.
See Man City, Madrid them, Barca, all inventors of this hold the ball at your opponent half.

They should have been beaten long time ago. A combination of irresponsible last minute defending by some small clubs and stupid finishing by clubs like Tottenham is the reason they hadnt lost. For instance, in the Tottenham game, if Tottenham was not a useless team they should have won that game by 4 goals to 1 or something like that.

And then you have Chelsea, Arsenal, United, and Tottenham being useless.

which game you watch??!! Watford won because they were aggressive. From the start to finish. They fought them like agbero! Liverpool is lucky that the brainless Deulofeu got injured. He was destroying them for the time he was on.
