Don't know how Watford lost this game, and they blame the poor coaches. These ones are just destined or should I say doomed for relegation this season ní. They should just accept their fate

Watford totally outplayed and out coached Liverpool, yet somehow find themselves down a goal becuz they have some truly mentally deficient players. Nigel Pearson must be pulling his hair out. Their chances were so clear cut but somehow they managed to blow three tap ins! That’s almost impossible 2 do! And then get caught on a counter off their own corner kick!!!
Watford is lacking in confidence. They still have a chance to escape relegation though

Invincibility? Shades of the Great Beloved, not always the prettiest but managed a dollop of lippy and high heel strut in the town centre. Out out.

Chei, Watford cannot finish.

Liverpool are beginning to crack at the back though.

Liverpool are enjoying a run of luck that is truly amazing.
That Salah second goal on an Origi miss was just one example of the kind of luck they have enjoyed this season.

Cant help but feel that luck is going to run out at some point when it really counts.

With 10 points to spare, or rather 9, luck’s running out won’t last anywhere near long enough.

I'm looking at the trend, especially on the green grass.

RBS exposed the defense but couldn't finish!
Watford exposed the D but couldn't finish.

The nature at which VVD almost scored an own goal!
There is trouble at the back!

Wise heads would fix it before the end of the clean sheets, because then it will be a bit late!

The trend on the grass (green or otherwise) shows three clean sheets in a row.

That said, Liverpool (and Man City) are giving away more clear cut chances than they did last season.

@Kaba, a lot of miles in tired legs. Liverpool's fixture list is frightening but nothing they were not well aware of. Yes, they're conceding more chances, but still emerging unscathed more often than not. The worry is invincibility, one had hoped this would remain an accolade only accomplished on English Premier League soil by the "real" Arsene Wenger. Hopefully someone takes the scalp off those f**king b*stards.

Liverpool: Kelleher; Hoever, Van den Berg, Boyes, Gallacher; Chirivella, Kane, Christie-Davies; Elliott, Hill, Longstaff.

Subs: Winterbottom, Clayton, Norris, Clarkson, Bearne, Dixon-Bonner, Stewart.

It is a shame that organizers make it impossible to play this game with a team that is not even close to being our U23 team. Taking Jones and Neco Williams off and Brewster injures makes it almost impossible. We play with house money. Best of luck to the kids... YNWA....

A real disgrace that the team is being forced to play this game....

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Ironically the more goals Villa score in this game, the more the competition is damaged...

Not a Liverpudlian eye parted with a tear when United boycotted the FA Cup in 2000. As congested as the fixture list may be, ‘tis not the first nor the last time a champion will feel the full wrath of winter. Get on with it!

Never quite understood why they didn't simply withdraw from the competition...

I'm supposed to care what the scum did in 2000?

why stop at that then; what about what they did in the time of Henry IV?
