FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS IT: KANTE IS NOT A SITTING MIDFIEDLER
I have been saying this for years, but the English has brainwashed everybody! For them, as long as they see you as a "water carrier" or "anchor man," or "ball winner," then you are the one who has to "sit" and simply win the ball and quickly pass it to someone else.
This is my fear for Ndidi. Brendan Rodgers made the same stupid comment about Ndidi last season, which creates a problem where Ndidi will probably never be able to work on ball distribution because his coach see him in a very narrow role.

This is correct and I thought it was obvious?
I think the main issue for many is that Kante's defensive attributes were not maximized in Sarri's system.
