City v Sheffield

Post by danfo driver »

It is now very clear to me that VAR was created to help the "big" clubs never lose.

Absolute disgrace!

How can a referee obstruct Sheffield's pass and then City score and the goal stands? How?!

The same VAR that helped Tottenham, Liverpool and City to rule out goals against them?! Naaahhh fam, its clear what this is all about.

I doubt VAR had anything to do with this. This is squarely on the ref to correct an obvious infringement.

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

The excuse was that the ref didn't touch the ball. That was shocking and shame on the ref. He could have called the ball back . He hindered the player.
