This match was played on February 20, 2020, yes 2020. No wonder Ghana hasn't won anything in ages:

The strangest event of the season happened yesterday when Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko deliberately played 45 minutes with 10-men apiece.

Based on what is believed to be an act of juju superstition, the two teams named 22 players on the team sheets but fielded only 20.

Farouq Adams and Martin Antwi remained out the field for the entire first half before suddenly returning for the second stanza. The result ended in Stars’ favour for the 1-0 win over the Porcupines.

Asked to explain the incident after the game, Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu simply said “he can’t explain.”
