As far as aI am aware, Ozil used £700k to purchase a Mosque in North London, where only he and his family worship.

The players should agree to a pay cut when the shareholders, investors, board members, club chairman, CEO and etc. also take the equivalent cuts to their dividends, salaries, shares, and whatever compensation packages, etc. they are receiving from running and been associated to the club.
