Doesn’t look good at all

If they can get his heart working again, at least he’ll have a chance...

I don’t think they did. I have never seen a white cordoned around a collapse player. This is Okwaraji type situation. Sad

Sad moment indeed.

They won’t move him until he’s stable. And they’ll keep working on his heart for as long as it takes.
The white cordon is simply to protect his privacy.
God.
This life.
He must make it through. BBC live coverage terminated but they say they have no further information.

Lets all say our prayers for him.
I pray he pulls through Amen.

Tragic. Hopefully the down time wasn’t too long. Coupled with his reserve, assuming no organic cause, he’ll have a chance at recovery.

A stark reminder that these players we objectify and curse out are human.
The sight of his wife/partner on the pitch crying was heart breaking- I pray he pulls through., I pray for strength for his fam , loved ones and team mates.

I can't imagine what it must be like for his wife and family right now.
At least his heart is up and working again.
His teammates were in tears as the resuscitation was going on.

Looks like it is confirmed that Eriksen is stabilized!
Still a long way to go but the worst is averted for now!
Glory be to God!
Big thank you to the medical team.

I'm believing cruxifixoy2k saw it himself or has got it from reliable sources.SylverEagles wrote:Is this for real? Please is this confirmed info?cruxifixoy2k wrote:He left the stadium awake and breathing. He will be ok.

Mind you, I'm not having a go at you personally, but you should reserve the thanks and glory for the medical team. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if they had left it up to prayer, like in a few countries I could name.SylverEagles wrote:Looks like it is confirmed that Eriksen is stabilized!

The day Africans leave this primitive "leave it up to God" mindset behind, the day we would be able to do the amazing job that the Danish medical authorities just performed.

I have never felt so relieved and happy with a picture of a person being strechered to hospital!
My disaster averted!

And another moment to ask ourselves, had this collapse occurred during the African Nations Cup, would the same standard be achieved? Hopefully so.Scipio Africanus wrote:Reports from ESPN are that he has been stabilized!

Damunk, as a doctor what do you believe happened? It seemed similar to what happened to Fabrice Muamba.Damunk wrote:I'm believing cruxifixoy2k saw it himself or has got it from reliable sources.SylverEagles wrote:Is this for real? As someone who has bradycardia, this was terrifying to watch.
