^A fact that has not been contested. Riddock Bukayo, on the ropes, but still standing like Reginald Dwight’s defiant classic. Long into the twelfth and all the way to the starting XI. Bomber Sako, RAF 51st regiment. Was there in ‘45 and will be there in ‘24.

Oh so reality has dawned on ya that those footsteps of Palmer have finally reached the doormat of Southgate?

Again, Palmer’s best work is done in-field, centrally. If not mistaken yesterday he was deployed in a floating role inside, Mudryk and Madueke out wide. One would argue he’s more in competition with Foden, Maddison et al than Bukayo Saka.

It remains to be seen whether Southgate will deviate from his norm.

As impressive as the numbers have been, Bomber Sako wide right, pace, power and most of all, black. Absolutely essential outlet for the counter and criticism. First name on the team sheet and “he’s bringing it home!”.

Coach my man, pace and power attributed to Saka?
Lol that’s almost an Ohenhen-esque kinda remark, as in you’re seeing things that don’t exist.
:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
Saka is quick and tricky but pacy and powerful, he ain’t … Raheem Sterling has pace, Adama Traore has pace and power, nah not Saka. But he is definitely Black

Saka is a good player. Im just saying he’s overhyped.
You’re making me laugh saying he is in contention with Foden instead of Palmer.
Again you’re obfuscating and failing to see things clearly.
He plays in the same position as Palmer.
It will come down to who is more potent as an inverted wide right player.
And on current form, few players are atop their game like Palmer.
Said this from the beginning of the season ….
I want Saka to step up his game and help Arsenal.
Whether he will do it remains to be seen

The quality of fakes and filters, frightening. There was a Who did it? thriller on the Cambridge campus a few years back. An alumni’s image was edited into certain unsavoury engagements and shared, wholesale, across the dot com. Family, friends, career, reputation all destroyed. Turned out to be the “friend” whose shoulder she would cry on whilst shouting at the clouds. Crazy.

Returning to the Gerrardian slip edit. Ingenious. But far too early. Brighton will give City all the hell of Hades. Two words. Big. Danny. Wellbeck.

I’m happy Tomi is back starting at left back but in a game like this I’d rather have Declan Rice playing as a six in front of the two Centre backs.
Oh well, hopefully Jorginho doesn’t leave the middle wide enough to drive two Concorde jets through the middle of the park like in the first leg

Why doesn’t this team just bloody shoot instead of always trying to pass their way into the net.
Now Odegaard is down smh.
He was a doubt coming into this game.
Smh.

If Ode is out I hope they don’t bring in Viera … Trossard please
