Wingers Saka and Martinelli’ not able to consistently take on their opposing fullbacks and beat them when immediately isolated one vs one before the double team arrives.

Need more dynamic play from the wing.
This is easy so far for Forest to let us have the ball in front of them with no fear of us running in behind
I wish we signed Mousa Diaby. Kai! Imagine all that money wasted on Pepe.
I had this running discussion all last season with Azuka and ThelastOne over Allan Saint Maximin. Would have been an incredible change of pace of the bench and would open the field with his direct running at defenders. I like Zaha but his time had passed. They screwed him and Emery by not completing the signing when his bags were packed

I’m liking Declan Rice more and more.
He’s actually demanding the ball and fitting in well.
Havertz? I ain’t saying nothin’

That’s a good play from Martinelli and better finish from Nkethia.

I’ll tell you something.
Arteta isn’t lacking for balls.
Some big big calls today and it’s not looking
shabby.

I know Martinelli’s game, backed by the eye test and numbers suffers when he plays with Nketiah, but he just took on two players with a move and a burst to open up the whole field but his cross let him down.

But that’s what we need consistently from our two guys on the wing. More dynamism and direct play

Seeing another view and how stationary Boly was for that second goal. Some of this defenders ehh.

Timber done for today. Tomiyasu coming on.

Arsenal need to score the next goal and bury this tie.
Forest is on a rugby charge and we have to stay focused and kill this game

NFO manager has flaunted two of the new rules and I didn’t see a yellow card.

Arteta has many ideas but the most basic: game management just eludes him.
No reason for us to be hanging on for dear life against this trash team.
He just doesn’t know how to use his team.

Arteta shouldn’t be embarrassed to leave Havertz on the bench.

I hope the feeling I have in my guts, about Havertz in Arsenal shirt, is just indigestion.

3 points but they made it harder than it should be.

Dude shouldn’t even be on the bench in this team. He’s slow as heck with zero bite.

Who is Havertz agent? I love my Arsenal but some of our signings (hit & misses) are linked to a certain super agent with close friendship with Edu.

I think Havertz was an Arteta demand.
This isn’t like a foreign player coming and needing to adjust. Most people have a negative opinion of him cuz of his body of crappy work @ Chelsea.
We shall see but I don’t hold out too much hope.
Poor body language and poor results
