Millwall supporter punched a Spurs fan - blame both of them...

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foot ... 26166.html
Video appears to show man assaulting a Tottenham supporter after Millwall's FA Cup defeat
The incident allegedly took place outside White Hart Lane after Tottenham's quarter-final win

One Spurs fan was apparently assaulted after the match Twitter

A short video has emerged on Twitter that appears to show a Millwall supporter punching a Tottenham fan following the FA Cup match between the two sides, which Spurs won 6-0.

The seven-second video appears to have been recorded after the match, with a man wearing a flat-cap assaulting two Tottenham supporters singing an anti-Millwall song.

The thug approaches the two men singing before punching one of them in the face, with enough force to knock the man to the ground.

Spurs make light work of Millwall as Son silences racial abuse
The man who throws the punch then quickly re-joins the throng of Millwall supporters leaving the ground.

The Twitter user who posted the video to the social media platform claims that the man who punched the Tottenham fan was a Millwall supporter.

The video has already been viewed thousands of times and the Metropolitan Police has confirmed that they are aware of the footage, with several members of the public reporting the video to them.

Violence had already flared between the two sets of supporters ahead of kick-off, with fans clashing ahead of kick-off.

Police in riot gear had to separate fans outside the stadium, as flares and coins were thrown.

Hundreds of police officers meanwhile patrolled the streets around the stadium, while inside White Hart Lane all stewards were instructed to wear plastic hard hats.

Supporters clash ahead of Tottenham's FA Cup match against Millwall

Racist chanting directed from the travelling support to Spurs forward Son Heung-min had earlier overshadowed the match, with Millwall manager Neil Harris quick to condemn the abuse.

Son scored a hat-trick at White Hart Lane as Spurs thrashed the Lions 6-0, but their victory was marred by abusive songs aimed at the South Korean from the visiting supporters.

Millwall fans were heard chanting "DVD" and "You're selling three for a fiver" at Son during the first half, thought to be in reference to the racist stereotype of traders selling bootleg copies of films.

Son delivered the perfect response with his treble while further goals from Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Vincent Janssen secured an emphatic success for Mauricio Pochettino's team.

Harris admitted after the match he had not been aware of the chants but said they would be a blot on Millwall's excellent run in the competition.

"I didn't hear anything, but the club, we won't condone that," Harris said.

Son Heung-min: Racists chants at Tottenham v Millwall investigated

Racist chants directed at Tottenham forward Son Heung-min during his side's FA Cup quarter-final win over Millwall are to be investigated by the Football Association.

Taunts of "DVD" and "he's selling three for a fiver" were directed at the South Korean during Spurs' 6-0 victory.

The chants seem to refer to a racist stereotype of Asians as traders selling bootleg copies of films door to door.

Millwall boss Neil Harris said guilty fans should be dealt with "harshly".

"It's a shame to be talking about this," added Harris after Son had scored a hat-trick to send Tottenham into the semi-finals.

"I didn't hear anything but myself and the club won't condone that if there is. I'm sure it will be investigated and left to the authorities.

"We want people dealt with harshly of course. It's wrong in society and wrong in football."

The Premier League club said any footage that could help catch those behind the alleged racism would be passed on.

A spokesperson said: "We strongly condemn the use of any racist language."

Millwall are still under investigation by the FA after Leicester complained about the behaviour of the club's fans following their victory in the previous round.

The League One club said: "Millwall have led the way on anti-discrimination initiatives and will continue to do so.

"The club is assisting the FA with its investigation and will make no further comment until that process is complete."

There was a heavy police presence outside White Hart Lane before kick-off on Sunday, with supporters of both teams having to be separated as skirmishes occurred, while bangers, flares and bottles were thrown.

Scan on Kane's ankle has been moved from Monday to Tuesday. The swelling on his ankle has to go down before it can be assessed properly.

We play Chelsea next for the reward of beating Millwall. Better to go through this team now as they are the team to beat in this competition anyway.

Chelsea vs. Spurs at Wembley. If Danny Rose is available, then Spurs have a chance. Without Rose at Wembley, forget it.

No one is falling for your nonense except Kenmega. We know you really wish Kane injury so your team has a chance of finishing 4th. Don't lie to yourself.

The injury is not as bad as previously feared. God is good. Wishing him a speedy recovery

Don't mind him, trying to use agbari. Keleweck. I propose lacing his regular order of palmy with extra dose of diarrhea inducing laxatives. He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near this thread on Sunday .

Heard gist yesterday that there is a possibility of Walker being out. That means in addition to Rose, Lamela and Kane - we lose Walker. Wow!
